    • This tests helps patients understand the amount of soft and potentially unstable plaque they have building up in the neck blood vessels.  These blood vessels also represent what is going on in the rest of the body too.  Studies show that lifestyle changes and medication and improve the damage to these blood vessels in as little as six months.  This test is performed on a monthly basis at Trinity’s main office in Fort Sanders West in association with CardioScan.  Please contact any of the offices to be scheduled.  The cost is $150 payable at the time of service.
  • Coronary Calcium Score interpretation
    • A coronary calcium score is a numerical representation of the amount of calcium, or hard plaque, that has formed in the arteries of the heart.  Calcium develops in the late stages of atherosclerosis.  Patients with a score of zero have a very low chance of heart disease while patients  with higher numbers have an expected higher chance of heart disease.  This test is performed through various local radiology offices.  Please contact any of the offices to be scheduled.  Currently our preferred radiology location offers the test for $99 payable at the time of service.
