Ever been to the pharmacy to buy a prescription and had to decide between the medication and another necessity because of the cost? Even with insurance?!

Do you still believe that health insurance actually lowers the price of drugs?

Have you ever tried to shop a prescription among different pharmacies?  It is almost impossible due to the obscure pricing arrangements used by pharmacy benefits managers.

A lawsuit being leveled against CVS may help expose the collusion (yes, I said it) between pharmacy chains and pharmacy benefits managers to keep drugs priced higher than their free market value.

It’s a little bit like Target and Visa conspiring to keep your kitty litter over priced without you being able to discover it so as to reap more revenue for something that shouldn’t be expensive.
